As many of you know by now, rope and shibari is a passion of mine but for some time I have felt that I do not see enough Queer expression in the majority of rope photography. Inspired by pride, I have started a project of tying a variety of body types and identities in poses that try to reveal and express their souls so you can all appreciate queer beauty the way I see it. This blog shares only a few photos from each shoot and will be updated as more scenes are carried out, I intend in the future to create something more extensive using all the photos from each intimate scene. Cindi is slutty and girly with every strut of her thigh high boots. Bisexual and submissive, I wanted to show her exposed, vulnerable and her willing to suffer for beauty. I adore her expressions throughout the various suspensions, bliss mixed with pain but a constant delicate innocence complimented by flair showed throughout. Peach is a stunning switch, playful and pixie like in the energy she brings to a scene. Peach is polygamous and pan-sexual which I tried to incorporate by showing her many playful and serious facets. Delightfully entangled in my ropes, Peach softly allows herself to surrender to the pain and enter a peaceful, euphoric state which is a pleasure to witness. The scenes were inspired by her mischievous pixie like demeanour, the importance of political standing and my favourite quote of hers from during our pre-scene catch-up "I love looking like a leg of lamb".
